Made In Tokyo
"It is possible to loose oneself in a sea of people. However, with the right pair of eyes, the unique individuals that make up a metropolis like Tokyo stand out."
My first job after graduating from university was teaching English in Japan starting in the Fall of 1998. With a one year working visa, I moved to Tokyo.
On my days off work, I walked the streets of Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Harajuku with my Olympus point-and-shoot camera and took pictures of everything that caught my eye.
Although I did not know it at the time, this would mark the first of many photo essays I would shoot and the beginning of my lifelong journey in photography.
